I still don't think there is much point in making the playoffs. Not that I advocate cheering for losses either. Let it play out, but I'm excited about a bit of a re-tool through the draft. We are going to lose some great Flames along the way but I think it's the best path.
If we happen to make the playoffs I will cheer whole-heartedly but I'm not sure it's the best way to go for this team right now.
I think we need to look at the long game at this point. It is fun along the way though!

Yeah, enjoy the wins as they come. Once Hanifin and Tanev are gone it's going to be, um, very different on defence. Bottom pair will be like chairs on the Titanic and playing 8 minutes a night.

Yeah, I feel like he was the first coach in the last 10 years or so to pull their goalie with more than 3 minutes left in the game while he was coaching the Avs. Ever since he did it, more coaches do as well now.
