yeah, IMO it’s been Calgary’s game since the Weegar goal. A couple push back shifts, but nothing especially dangerous.

Nice puck control in scrambly mode on that shift, Kuzmenko kept his head under pressure to start it off.

You always hear about the poor press box locations in these new buildings, which is a bit strange given this is how most fans experience the games. Hope they do better designing the Flames’ new barn.

No goal, but WTF was Marky looking at?
If Engvall was a bit slower that would have counted.

I agree - good banter and they were just as confused as we were by the Ilanders’ ‘goal’.

Clearly the camera men were assuming it was getting shot around the boards, and backed up by seeing Markstrom going behind the net. The cameras were swinging into the Flames zone and the delayed hitting of Tanev messed that all up, and again, Markstrom 's reaction of going behind the net validated the cameramen.
But yeah Markstrom losing the puck so quick messed up both camera teams too.

No. He’s on a rookie contract. It’s one-way - the same wherever he plays.
EDIT: I’m 100% wrong.

I'm pretty sure ELC's are two-way contracts

Yep...can confirm it was impossible to follow. I'm sitting at UBS right behind Markstrom and totally lost it.

Yes, he gets his NHL salary, which is $775,000, rather than the $70,000 he gets in the AHL.

Pretty funny that Francis is blasttthe officials for not seeing the play that was obviously 20 feet offside. Apparently, he didn't see it either.

CF says you are right, but no ELCs are listed with a different minor league salary so I got it wrong.
EDIT: I found the place where they list the ML salary now. Dumb of me.

All entry level contracts are 2 way, so yes.
