TSLA is about the same price it was 3 years ago, or a bit down. That doesn't mean I sell all of it and call it a day. Every year since I can remember, almost all experts said the stock had a sell rating.
A good friend is a chartered accountant I asked her more many clients made money in the markets, including crypto. The answer was zero. This is out of hundreds of tax returns. Most if not all received financial advice, they didn't pick themselves.
Investing is hard, that's why when I see someone that did well I listen. Carefully. Mocking them and telling them they did it all wrong and should have done something else is a bad look.
Does your friend do taxes on the down town eastside? it has been almost impossible to lose money in the markets over the last 20 years
That seems odd, but I also assume she isn't looking at their TFSA or RRSP earnings. But even then, hundreds of returns and no one made money? I'm skeptical.
I was also very surprised. I didn't prejudice the question I simply asked. This firm does personal and business tax.
A Vancouver company has been ordered to pay more than $400,000 in penalties and legal expenses for having multiple unsanctioned cryptocurrency mines in Alberta.
The Alberta Utilities Commission investigated Green Block Mining after residents in 10 households complained about noise from a natural gas plant near Greystone Manor, a neighbourhood in Sturgeon County, north of Edmonton.
The commission discovered the company, formerly known as Link Global, had set up four 1.25-megawatt gas generators on the site, powering computer servers that were mining digital currency.
