It's exciting being in a position where I would be happy with a Hanifin long-term extension, but also happy with a big trade return for Hanifin. I'm also suddenly very confident in Conroy's abilities to get a haul.
Dawson Mercer+ would be awesome.

Hearing it’s contract talks but can’t confirm if it’s with Calgary or if a list of teams have been granted permission to speak to his camp.

No reason for the Flames to be in a hotel room at 11:30 at night hammering out an extension with Hanifin - that could wait until tomorrow.
If there is urgency to it, it seems more likely to me that it would be for an extension from an acquiring team - i.e. needing to get done quickly so they can consummate the trade.

Going to take a wild guess and say it's a Flames extension though.
Hotel room sounds like an extension (yes phrasing) with current team.

If Conroy swings another blockbuster in under a week? My goodness.
I’d love to see Noah and Marky go to the Devils. They have the assets I’d be most excited to see come to Calgary.
