I would love for them to bring in a strong keeper, Carducci is the weak link and has cost them multiple playoff games now. Love that squad though.

Sounds like the new kit will be revealed on Monday?

I've heard rumours there is a white away kit this year...

White with the appropriate amount of green would be nice and a unique yet classy template (not like the year the CPL gave everyone black away kits). A reverse color kit of the original away kit would be nice...but Macron overall has some "interesting" kit designs across Europe, and templates in general.

If Cavalry were to do the 2019 home with the proper red one year they'd be billionaires...

Green home kit with red trim, white away kit with red trim would be perfect

I’m a little jealous of you folks going out to Victoria and/or Orlando. Wish I could swing it. Maybe next year

I as well am jealous of those going, but I fully expect the Cavs supporters to make an absolute raucous on the live feed watching from home!

GK situation:

Looks like they're going to be signing a 21 or 22 year old (can't remember) keeper, loaned from Everton Academy.

Glad folks are going, I am still bitter, but the team needs loyal support.

Totally understand. I was bitter for a minute, am still slightly annoyed by it... ATCO Field would have been awesome for the first leg. That said, I'm a Cavs fan above all, and to me, one game in one tournament isn't going to sully my love and connection to the team. The club has provided me and my family and friends with so many fun times and great memories that I can overlook the drama on this one. Maybe we get to the next round, and ATCO Field is back on the menu anyways!

Just beat Orlando and then we can have our game at home

A tournament like this would have been perfect for our dear Escalante. He’s get under everyone’s skin! But we probably play a more cohesive style with Akio on that wing now

I feel this is an opportunity for the Cavs - both the players and staff - to benchmark their skillsets for MLS. For sure Dan Klomp is going to be getting a look during this tournament, and I'd wager to guess that Tommy's managing might get a look, especially since Leon Hapgood moved on to NYFC in the MLS.

Thinking out loud, but eyes will be on these games, including the Chivas/Forge contests.

Agreed - I would put money on MLS scouts being at this Orlando game.

I also hope Chivas mops the ####ing floor with Forge and severely embarrasses them in front of the their fans. I will then toast Chivas after.

Personally I would prefer folks go to Orlando over Langford. If you're going to do an away day make it the actual away leg not the one that should have been the home leg.

Also Triston Henry won't be playing in the Forge / Chivas games. Heard he has gone AWOL.

Bobby Smyrniotis is calling it "taking time off to deal with a personal matter". That and AWOL aren't exactly the same thing.

Where are you hearing this?

That's a lot of kilometres to get pedantic about it haha. We won't be "showing them" anything if 50 show up for the "home" leg instead of 100.

Have heard it from Forge supporters long before this week. Of course the club won't say that publicly.
