The one good thing about Pospisil getting a game misconduct is that we get to try Pelletier on the Kadri line for the rest of the game.

That's actually pretty funny. Kuzmenko's first since before Christmas and Lindholm's second since before Christmas, with his first being the last game against Chicago.

Hell maybe Kuzmenko can make Huberdeau look good enough to trade.

ok how is that 5 and a game but Zary gets crosschecked in the face then again in the head while on the ice defenseless and it was two minutes . This league and officials are utter garbage sometimes

Come now. You knew they had to help the Bruins get their momentum going. Terrible call.

I now predict Kuzmenko outscores Lindholm over the remainder of the season.

And he may well be as successful as Coronato was there.
Pospisil drives that line and gives Kadri one less thing to worry about and Zary plays 3 inches taller.
Not a coincidence the Flames were ahead of the Leafs until he got hurt and then lost the next games until tonight. That line is our best line most nights becuase they are dynamic with a guy who will has speed, enough skill, but mainly get his hands dirty to get the puck, and when that line wasn't able to generate momentum, the outcome of the team speaks for itself.

Is it crazy to say that it feels like Zary could end up being another Daymond Lankow?

Well that top l8ne has some serious zip in it now without Lindholm. It's actually crazy how different they look out there. Every one of their shifts had at least a SoG.

Zary and Pelletier had some chemistry in the AHL. Pelletier also plays fast, and he's like a dog on a bone when hunting pucks. I can see a better fit than Coronato.
That said, I see Pelletier playing on the Backlund line next season instead of Mangiapane, who I think will be gone in the summer.

Good. The 4th line was playing fast and with a ton of energy.

I might be biased, but there is a very strong possibility that Connor Zary just might be the single greatest athlete on the planet right now.

No sir. Good news is they're gonna still sell and eat up all the goodness that's been happening from the kids and the new players at the same time.
