And I'd add ...

"Don't be upset if they win"

A .500 team 50 games into a season is not going to change gears, keep their UFAs and start moving picks to bolster their team for a playoff run.

They've traded their top scorer, their 5th dmen and their #1 center since the summer.

This isn't a management group that is acting like the direction hangs in the balance.

Chill!

Then we should be cheering for the turn overs and booing for the goals!

Don’t sleep on the Flames at 2.62 ML! Basically an arbitrage.

I don't see a cap dump, I see a guy in a slump who needs a change of scenery. This could be a tremendous buy-low trade for Mr Conroy.

I predict Kuzmenko will outscore Lindholm on a PPG comparison over the remainder of this regular season!

I think the Flames will play better after the break. I love Lindholm, but he was playing uninspired hockey. I feel he'll be rejuvenated and a huge addition to the Canucks, but I feel the same about Kuzmenko coming here. Kylington is going to get up to speed, and Pelletier being back are both positives. Dube gone is a positive. I think the post all-star break bump will be short lived, but I expect a bit of run. If they trade both Tanev and Hanifin the wheels fall off in a hurry though. Even just Tanev will set us up for a tough finish.
Not suggesting a huge push for the playoffs, but am expecting to keep on keeping on in that 9th to 11th spot.

This is only my 2nd game seeing the Flames away from the Saddledome but was stoked to see a couple boys in Flames jerseys in Boston before I saw anyone in a Bruins jersey. LGF!

I always like watching a good team like Boston as we don't see them often. Not expecting much with such a retooled Flames lineup (Kylington and the new guy as a pair could be an adventure as they are very new to each other and don't have much steady NHL experience lately), so no high expectations. Just hope it's a fun game and we start building some chemistry.
