imagine spending a billion on new players, only to get worse and worse. What a meme of a club.

It’s so delicious! I did laugh at the commentators suggesting that poor Chelsea have had injuries. You have enough for two full squads there. If you can’t figure out eleven players from that, that’s your problem!

Chelsea after 23 games:

21-22: 13-7-3, +30, 46 points, 3rd
22-23: 8-8-7, +1, 32 points, 10th
23-24: 9-4-10, -1, 31 points, 11th

they spent €611m and €467m on new players between those seasons. Incredible.

Should be fun to see how Arsenal respond to that awful goal after being well on top all half.

Liverpool crumbled after that atrocious 2nd goal giveaway. Arsenal just took the momentum the minute that goal was scored and just potted a 3rd to end the game.

VVD with a terrible game.

Three of the four goals were errors, Alisson had a dreadful game.

How is that on Alisson when VVD was the reason for 2/3 and the first one being because of terrible D? Konate and VVD were atrocious.

Gift for a gift.
Very fortunate Liverpool messed that up; gave Arsenal the life they needed.

A long way off our best for this one. Credit to Arsenal though, they played with a lot of energy and didn’t hang their heads after the mistake.

When we went 2-1 up, I was waiting to see what new and novel way we’d find to #### this up. When Liverpool went down to ten men, I feared the worst for us.

But it looks like we’ve decided to play the long game, and build up hope, only to deliver a crushing kick to the nuts towards the end of the season.

At the end of the day; it's 4/6 points vs Liverpool and so far 3/3 vs City. 7/9 possible points vs the top 3; only giving 1/9 to the opponents.
I don't think Arsenal wins the league but it feels good to take points from top teams and give yourself a chance.

Unfortunately they find ways to lose the easier games which is where it keeps hurting.

Arsenal played really well today. Manchester City will stroll to the title now though.

Yeah, barring something unforeseen this is just handing the title to City again.

Although, in fairness, thats Liverpool's fault not Arsenal's. Everyone is there to win the game.

Even if City win their 2 games in hand, they still have to play Liverpool & Arsenal.
Especially with Liverpool playing that at Anfield, they're in control of their fate.

If City win those matches, they deserve the title anyway; so hard to say it's just a stroll in.

The only thing City deserve is to be stripped of all their titles and be sent down three or four leagues.

I agree; probably poor wording.
Point I was making is that Liverpool still control their fate. Win all of their matches & the title is theirs.

Spoiler!

not a lot going right this season, but these three give me a bit of hope for the future.

hope that Lisandro Martinez injury is not as bad as they fear, but I'm not holding my breath. Brutal for him.
