I don't think PLD is the sole reason for bringing the Kings down. It takes more than that to get a coach fired, but he's an easy target.

Doughty thinks he's the biggest thing since sliced bread (just ask him) but his teams havent done much since Sutter left, but Drew seems to be blaming others like he did then (Sutter) and is now (though not blaming McLellan, clearly didn't do enough to fight for him or save him either) when hes bascislly co captain of thr team this entire last decade...he should be looking in the mirror.
But he's living off the Cups that Darryl got them.

Completely agree with this Doughty take. Early success and the cups have made him intolerable and I think he’s as much to do with dysfunction in that room as anyone.

Brutal is a bit harsh. He's been affected by injuries and has only played 103 games the previous 3 seasons. His development is behind and he's probably not going to live up to expectations, but he's been pretty decent this year, and he did score his first NHL goal last week.
