Lipinski had an assist, and was -3. 42gp/12g/27a/39pts,-11, 41 PIM.

Bell had no points in a 3-1 loss to Seattle. 33gp/19g/16a/35pts,-11, 19 PIM.

The WHL site shows Iginla's stat line as 40gp/31g/24a/55p. Either way he looks like a real player, scored on a really nice individual effort, too.

Honzek was 2nd star in a 4-2 win over Kelowna, with 2 assists and +2. 11gp/5g/9a/14pts,+1, 4 PIM.

Lipinski had no points, but was +1. 43gp/12g/27a/39pts,-10, 41 PIM.

Bell had no points again, -1 in a 3-2 loss to Everett. 35gp/19g/17a/36pts,-12, 19 PIM. Bell only has 1 point in his last 5 games, and Tri-City are 2-8 in their last 10.

Tri-City loses again, this time 3-2 to Portland. Bell was held pointless, but was +1. 37gp/20g/18a/38pts,-12, 19 PIM. Tri-City are 1-9 in their last 10.

Morin gets an assist, but was -1 in a 4-3 loss to Cape Breton. 37gp/8g/26a/34pts,+4, 16 PIM, 5th in D scoring.

Tri-city loses again, 3-2 to Prince George- 4 losses in a row, and 1 win in their last 10. Bell had zeros. 38gp/20g/18a/38pts,-12, 25 PIM.

Vancouver beats Victoria, 7-6 in OT. Lipinski gets an assist, and was even. 45gp/14g/27a/41pts,-7, 45 PIM.

Honzek was all zeros. 13gp/5g/10a/15pts,+2, 6 PIM.

Giants lose to the Royals, 3-2 in OT. Lipinski had no points, and was -1. 46gp/14g/28a/42pts,-8, 45 PIM.

Honzek gets 2 assists, and was +1. 14gp/5g/12a/17pts,+4, 6 PIM.

Morin was first star in a 3-2 loss to Sherbrooke, with a goal, an assist, and +2. 38gp/9g/27a/36pts,+6, 16 PIM, tied for 4th in D scoring. Morin has 13 points in his last 10 games.

Moncton beats Acadie-Bathurst 4-3 in OT. Morin did not play.

Honzek regressing from 1.3 points per game to 1.2 points per game is a little disappointing, if I'm going to be honest. His line mates have increased their production, so he's arguably playing with better players this year. A guy like Jacob Julian, 5th round pick by Winnipeg in the same draft, is the same size and has better production. Honzek might be the first Flames 1st round pick since Pelech in 2005 to regress in production in their D+1 year.

Perhaps it's just hard to take large steps forward after back-to-back years with major injuries. I just want to see a fully healthy season from Honzek.

It's a 14 game sample size after a long term injury on a terrible team. Point per game averages fluctuate drastically over such small sample sizes.

Jacob Julien also has teammates with 1.82, 1.60, and 1.34 points per game averages. Sam Honzek leads the Giants while being the only player over a point a game. Not at all comparable. The Giant's rank 20th out of 22 teams in scoring in the WHL.

Nate Danielson almost made the Redwings out of camp, and has had a very pedestrian year in the WHL.

It's ok to give these kids time.
