Yes it’d be more like 4-5 hrs but who cares? No other sports are on, nobody doing anything? Have events run through commercials and show replays when back?

Only having 12 guys compete is weird.
Think the simple answer here is to satisfy TV time slots. ESPN - and even Sportsnet - wouldn't like this to go beyond 3 hours.

I commenting in this thread, but I've actually not watched a lick of this, and won't be watching the game tomorrow. After hearing about the NHL not letting the last four players be picked by teams, I'm protesting this event.

Don't want to do it right, then don't get viewership.

I feel like getting a chance to watch someone grift a million bucks live on TV is honestly worth my time to watch. Kind of amazing really.

And like I can’t tell if he’s just that bad at interviewing or if he’s being a total dick. I think he’s being a dick, but not sure. Him and Draisatl are perfect for each other, just losers.
I personally think it’s what happens when a ‘child prodigy’ in hockey has no social life as an adolescent and it’s just hockey, hockey, hockey, practice, practice, practice. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy…

Nylander cheated too. Got a puck well after the minute expired. This is nuts.

Don't want to nitpick but damn near almost all of these breakaways have been offside.
