I'm fine with it, it was like trading a 1st for Kadri who has been good and really good for Zary and Pospisil.

When the decision to hire a coach was taken out of his hands the org should have parted ways with him and not doing so led to a toxic disaster of a power struggle. Ultimately I blame ownership

Reminds me of giving up a 2nd with Regehr then seeing Buffalo flip him at the deadline for two 2nds.
Thankfully the organisation seems to finally be making solid asset management decisions.

I’m going to guess he doesn’t get that 1st because of his one way game and injury history but we will see.
I don’t even see this in relation to the Kadri trade anymore though. Any team could have signed him in order to flip him.

That Monahan "turned it around" is a shock. Here's hoping Edmonton responds to the Canucks getting Lindholm and just over pays out the ass for Monahan and he returns to his true form: junk.
