I view the 39 goals last year as a big fluke so yeah.
I see him as maybe a 50ish point guy going forward assuming he gets top six ice time + big PP time, and is a guy that doesn't care about playing a two way game.
Flukey in the same kind of way as Zach Hyman being on pace for 56 goals?

I think it’s fair to be bummed that Kuzmenko has taken the stand against Pride jerseys. I also think it’s fair to be excited that he has shown ability to score goals and hopefully can be a valuable asset for the Flames.
I don’t like shutting down Butterfly’s concerns as if they aren’t worth sharing. It’s a forum where people are allowed to disagree.
I think Kuzmenko likely demanded a trade and it helped push this trade across the finish line. Without Kuzmenko it was probably Lindy with 50% retained for a first + BRZ and a fourth but including Kuzmenko balanced out the salary and allowed them to move on from him and they included the extra D man to compensate for taking on the contract.

Are they jaded about a corporate sponsorship of said "movement", or are they objecting of the "group"?
I ask that even if I'm assuming either of the quoted terms in your reply. I've never interacted with any member of the community that disapproves of these events other than the corporate pandering, which is understandable. Most of them see it as a necessary eyeroll towards inclusivity and awareness.
But that's just anecdotal...
I find it strange that events that are supposed to be all about inclusivity get butt-hurt when someone doesn't support them.
I grew up in a similar environment to Kuzmenko, and I more than understand where he stands on the issue. Hockey is for everyone, that's not the issue. A person has the right to love whomever he/she wants and be open about it, or change his/her body however he/she wants.
I can't support the politics. For example, on an issue like letting children undergo gender transition treatment. Unfortunately, it all gets grouped into one, and if I'm against it, then I'm, supposedly, against the whole group.

This return is WAY more than what you were preaching.
Really? How? 1st rounder. Check. "B" grade prospect (Brzustewicz). Check. Lesser prospect (Jurmo). Check. The rest is garbage. We take a player no one wanted and eat his salary for the remainder of the season and next. Compensation for that is a 4th rounder that might turn into a 3rd rounder. That's a wash at best. If he performs and fills the net without hurting the team he might return another asset net deadline. Risk associated with that which the Flames are not being compensated for IMO. So where is this WAY more return?

That's politics to you, until it's you. Then it's life.

Trade will only get better once we flip this phobe for a pick or a prospect. Look at it that way! I’m so happy. I mean surely Tennessee or Florida is just waiting to say come home.
Please piss off!!
