Trade that actually fills a lot of voids too, very thin on D prospects. I don't know much about the players but their 3rd best prospect and a 1st is great. Not to mention the rest.

Lots coming back for Lindholm.
Kuzmenko: a pro who has holes in his game, but has raw scoring talent. Bit of a cap dump to make it work. Could be a nice reclamation project. I'm good with that.
2024 1st. It will be in the 20s, but it's exactly what this team needs
Hunter Brzustewicz: Good puck moving offensive d-man. Doing very well in the OHL this year. Quite a get. This to me is the lynchpin in this deal. He'll instantly be one of our top 2 or 3 d-man prospects.
Joni Jurmo: a little older d-prospect. Absolutely massive frame. Playing in Liiga right now as a defensive d-man. A nice add-in that could pan out as a bottom pairing guy.
A conditional 4th round pick as well is just icing on the cake.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is what a haul looks like. Considering the year Lindholm is having, I don't think you could have gotten much more than this.
I'm fully in love with Craig Conroy.

I hope Lindholm plays with a little more passion in Vancouver. He's a good player, but hasn't really looked like it the last two seasons.

What’s the conditions on the 4th? Did the Flames retain 50%?
From Van’s perspective they have to be thinking they made out like bandits here. Got rid of a player they didn’t want for this year and next, two prospects that are not core guys, and a late 1st for by far the best rental centre available
This trade is only any good if Brzustewicz is any good imo. If he sucks or busts this is essentially the Iginla/Bouwmeester trades again. Hopefully the scouts do better this time.
