As long as it's not with TO but I still hate inter-divisional rival trades. Canucks needs to give something significantly more than just Kuzmenko, especially when he's got a NTC.

Ahhh gotcha. I thought Oilers and Van would be bidding against some of the same players, but with them taking the one the Oilers wouldn’t get, it may open up some others they could.
Plus Vancouver seem ripe for a first round exit. Like Boston last year.

They did the same with Sharangovich, trading for him when his value wasn’t as high as it should be. Best time to acquire players if you think they can regain form.

So Vancouver will have 6 All Stars and Calgary zero?
Don’t know much about any rumoured players but would love to see a 2025 draft pick and a centre prospect as part of the return.
