This increases the odds that Christian Parker moves to the Packers as their DC as he was high on the Patriots list. He was a part of Lafleurs staff before getting poached by the Broncos, where he coached a couple guys to pro bowl status.

My beloved Chargers now have their GM in place to support Harbaugh and they have some difficult decisions coming up on Mack, Bosa, Allen, and Williams. Those four account for something like thing 45% of the cap next year. Restructures and cuts on the way
The prevailing theory is cut Williams, extend Allen, try and trade Bosa, and convince the cheap owner to add void years to keep Mack around. Should dump them all and eat a crap year one. Never a better time to do it than year one of a big hire
Man that's great news for the Lions. It's curious that two years in a row he's interviewed and pulled his name from openings. I can understand avoiding the Panthers but the Seahawks have been a stable organization over the years and the Commanders with new ownership would be a clean slate start. That said he's only 37 so I can also understand why he may not want to rush into the head coach job because not all coordinators are cut out for it.

Yeah, I would think the Seahawks job would be reasonably attractive. But maybe there is s bit more he wants to learn/do before he makes the Leap. Definitely is good news for the Lions.

Patriots QB Tom Brady
If you believe the rumour mill Johnson was apparently asking for $15 million+ per season. I could see this is a bit of him wanting to stay and a bit of teams not offering him close to that.

The Seattle Seahawks are expected to hire Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald as their successor to Pete Carroll, league sources said Wednesday.
Macdonald, 36, will become the ninth head coach in franchise history and the youngest head coach in the NFL, passing recently hired New England Patriots coach Jerod Mayo, 37.
Sucks for the Ravens as the guy did really good work improving the unit over Martindale's defense. Now we will find out if he's head coach material or just a really good DC. It's unfortunate for teams that the price of having really good coordinators is that you only get them for a short time because they are destined for head coach opportunities.
What's wrong with the Commanders job...somebody would probably be smart to take it .
Snyder is gone and Harris has done a pretty good job as owner of the 76ers and Devils and let those teams build from the ground up with strong rebuilds.
New owner that seems to be patient (at least is with his other teams)
2nd overall pick and 5 picks in the top 100
Feels like worse scenarios you could walk into and not like Synder is still the crazy owner.
I think kel was responding to my whorish ways not being sassy to you.
Maybe they’re being by overly particular? Your points make sense but it feels like total radio silence on that job. I mean more so than the standard ignoring or warshington that we all do.
