There was a very nice stretch in between, with the Flames mostly playing ~.610 hockey. That stretch made me really enjoy the hockey and bought Huska a lot of goodwill from me.
You mean the stretch where Huberdeau was rejuvenated by finding someone he had chemistry with in Shangovich? The guy who has some goodwill for you moved him to play with Kadri even though he was there all of last year and saw they don't work well together. Plus you hurt Shangovich as well. Go ahead and explain to me any rational reason to split up that first line and put Huberdeau with Kadri.

If your kid needed a tutor for school and his grades got worse would you say he isn't part of the problem? Just bizarre.
Just saying that I’m not going to be quite as quick as some to evaluate a rookie coach trying to navigate a talent-challenged team through a crappy situation (multiple trade requests, uncertainty about core players who are UFAs, the prospect of possible criminal charges against a team member, highest paid member of the team significantly underperforming his contract starting a season before the current coach was hired). I’m neither for nor against Huska, just of the opinion that there’s not enough information to make a well-reasoned evaluation of him. I’m any case, he’s fine for the tank.

Hawks playing a perfect road game, pretty much glued to each Flames player with the puck

Thank goodness Markstrom continues his spectacular play.

How some people have blamed the Flames woes on him is beyond comprehension.

Bad luck to break the stick with that slash...I've seen worse ignored

And Katchouk blows another breakaway...

I don’t know how you can possibly bring Savard back next season. This powerplay is laughably bad.

Yeah, I said a similar thing in the GDT.

My explanation would be an attempt to change things up, in an attempt to give the team a boost.

The Lindholm line didn't look good last game. The Kadri line looked pretty bad against EDM. Last game they finally generated some chances.

SC patch on the HC jersey, on the Flames fan behind the Hawks bench/Richardson. Yuck.

The Hawks look like the better team tonight.

I think Savard is thinking about many stiff drinks right now.

Kadri bobbled the puck on his backhand...he would have been better served to skate in and try to take that on the forehand

I'm amazed at the performance swings this roster goes through in 20 game stints. This is awful hockey right now.

Although Markstrom has been saving the teams bacon for a while.

Best thing that could happen tonight is a big Flames loss.
