Can they Salvage their dignity or just plunk it right on the curb?

A loss here tonight would absolutely unravel the teams confidence.

That being said, please win, don't whimper into the bye week and the ASG weekend like a dog that got ran over.

A loss tonight might just motivate some guys to either ask for a trade. Start Huberdeau in net!

Well, my guys have not won a road game since November 9th. That's 19 road losses in a row. Our goalies have stood on their heads, but, we just have no scoring talent, managing only 5 goals in the last 7 road games. Does this mean an easy win for your guys? Not necessarily. The pattern has been tight games until we blow it in the late 2nd, and then give up ENGs late. Our stats: GF: 31st, GA: 31st PP: 32nd, PK: 25th. Wretched special teams. On the current road trip, our top line has been Raddysh/Kurashev/Foligno with 25 goals, between them, and a -45.Talk about overpromoted bottom line guys. Dikinson is our only active double digit scorer, with 15 goals. He is 1 of only 3 active guys with a positive +/-.

I'll be hanging in the GT, wondering if the doom and gloom of my team will out-suck the recent doom and gloom, that I have read here at CP, of your team! Catch you guys/gals then.

If there was a stat for “playing down to your competition”, I’m pretty sure the Flames would be leading it.

Go Flames go. Important two points to get closer to the higher picks.

You did that a few weeks ago. You can do it today.

Not watching tonight. Have fun for those of you who would like to.

Please lose. A great way to put the final nail into this season. Then, sell!

Will be watching the WWE Royal Rumble instead. Only wrestling event I watch every year.

Get rid of those blasted "Blasty" jerseys. We play like the "young gun" era Flames in those monstrosities.

Oh great. Another even-more-bottom-feeder than Flames for them to lose to.

I smell another club upcoming. Haven't decided if I can stand to watch this crap team show its utter ineptitude yet again. Kylington would be a reason to watch. Lindholm a reason to run away and hide.

I'm kind of excited for this game.

Win and save some face, head into the All Star Break on a higher note, then match the current Oiler win streak after the break (I love making unrealistic predictions; I'm 'One of the Nine' after all).

Lose tonight and it's a new lowest of the low this season, lower than the first loss to the Hawks, lower than losing to CBJ like they did (their first road regulation win in a month), lower than losing to STL in the last minute like they did and so on. Lose tonight and let the tank really truly get in motion, get a top 5 pick and hope for the future.

The one 'Hawk line that seems to cause opponents problems Blackwell/Dickinson/Anderson. They are relentless on the fore-check. They were on McAvi, last game, and he needed a McPP to get going.

I can’t bring myself to cheer for losses but I won’t be upset if they lose, I know that’s counterintuitive. The season is obviously over now, I hope they get trading soon as the assets we gain will be exciting. I ran into Martin Gelinas at urban fair yesterday in Kelowna. He was down in Penticton scouting Suniev on the Vee’s. Super nice guy and was cool he took some time to chat with me.

I'm hoping one streak ends today. Then, a bit later, I'm ambivalent about the other streak ending. If it does, it's great for the guys on the home team. If it doesn't, it's great for the organization.
