I think that if the Flames manage to find a center in the off-season they will be competitive pretty soon. Pelletier will give the team another big boost, and we're going to have $30M in cap space.

I was just thinking the same thing. I'm trying to remember the last meaningful play he made in a game. I can't think of one. Hasn't scored a goal in 15 games. Looks totally checked out.
I hope they move him soon.

I keep hearing that some of the rookies can play C. But none are dedicated centres as far as I can see. It’ll be interesting to see Honzek and if he can make the team.

Zary is. The rest have been science experiments at center.
EDIT: Kerins is as well, and Nikolaev. Question is will they ever make the show?
I had high hopes for Nikolaev, has found that other gear yet.

Have to laugh at the this game is so important to the Flames comments by the broadcast crew. Really how so. They are already going nowhere and once the trades happen will just develop the youth. This game ain't important at all other than for Zylington.

Zary is a center, he just played so well on Kadri's wing to start.

He did have that one nice assist. He was battling someone at the side of the net and kicked the puck out front to someone who scored. Just can't recall which game that was.

Yeah, I heard Honzek was going to be tried at C but then he got hurt so I don’t know if they stuck with that.
There will be some prospects in the trades I’m sure. If they can snag an underused C it would be nice.
