No, and some were not even in town if I recall.
Makar wasn't anywhere near the event, as an example.

It could be nothing other than a young man having personal problems. Samuel Girard took a leave of absence this season and he's not part of that team. I think this is something that happens more and more as players get proactive about dealing with their personal demons rather than living with it like NHLers in the past.

While Formenton and Comtois have not been offered NHL contracts, looks like the accused are no longer nameless.

Kyrou also said he didn't attend the event, which should be easy enough to verify, so I doubt he would lie.

Lawyer Question / CBA:
Can a player who voluntarily enters one of the leagues treatment plans be suspended by the team without pay for personal conduct while in the treatment plan??
Could be a loophole that agents have advised players to use before the news comes out to keep getting paid

It's the implication, Jiri. This is the sort of thing you really want jump to conclusions on so you can get the pitchforks out early.

I'm not sure a LoA necessarily means they've entered the NHLPA treatment plan.

Wait... so is the Dube leave part of this? Honestly, I haven't kept up on this whole thing out of a preference for waiting until all the facts have come out.
...although, I suppose asking what I've asked here is going against that preference...

To be clear, we don't know. And speculating in this area is dangerous.

I find the easiest thing to do is never put the pitch fork away. Just keep that sucker out and swing it around. Chances are you'll eventually drive it into the right person, and if some others get poked along the way, ah well.

Nothing is official at all but the rumors are the findings will be released in the next week or two. And now these two implicated players are both on leave.
It would be naive to think they are not related at this point.

They certainly could when they exit the plan, especially for conduct that occurred prior in time.
