I think Kuzmenko is a fairly intriguing cap dump. He had 39 goals last year and still not quite 28 years old. We know the Canucks won’t win the cup so it won’t be 32nd overall. The prospect piece is the hardest one to gauge since they won’t move their top 2 and the rest of the pool is meh

Also, they have a need for a player like Lindholm.

DAL like their top 9 forwards, so I don’t see a fit with Lindholm. However, they could really use a veteran RD. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if Tanev winds up there.

Both of you need to do that imo. Put him on ignore if you feel like he's not going to stop but quit engaging him.

You would think he would learn from how spurs got booted for the same thing, gumming up threads and calling posters liars. It is just frustrating the board finally got back to normal and here comes this fool to carry on spurs legacy.

28 is a bit old for the direction the Flames should be looking to go in.
Canucks will be competing with teams that simply have better assets and could feasibly construct more a more enticing package. If they want to pony up though, then by all means.

If there are at least 3-4 teams making serious offers, the flames can be patient. There just is not much available out there for other teams that want a Lindholm type of player. To my knowledge, the next best rental centerman available is Monahan. If one of those teams ends up going for Monahan instead, there would still remain multiple teams after Lindholm.

Most teams would be skeptical about Monahan's durability.
The Flames should have the market cornered at that position. Absolutely no reason to pounce on something prematurely with Vancouver, who isn't an ideal trade partner all things considered. The serious offers will come.

Please don’t make the Canucks or Oilers better. Surely any offer they make won’t be that much better then other teams we don’t hate.

You know what, F you all, I'm out. I don't need this ####. I go out of my way to find out stuff and I get this #### constantly. I had some bad info on Gaudreau that everybody got, even the GM. I broke Toffoli was going to be traded and why, what his contract asks were. I broke what Matthews AAV was going to be a week before the signed. I broke that Hanifin wanted to stay when Francis was saying otherwise and everybody #### on me for that too. When Dec said Markstrom was being shipped I said they hadn't even talked to him nor wanted to move him way before Friedman did. Now I have a bunch of posters calling me a liar so F it, I will just stop posting. My life is stressful enough with people being rude to me on a message board after I spend plenty of my free time reaching out to people I know to see what they are hearing. I don't need it.

And are very clearly not going in. Kuzmenko is the type of player the Flames would want as a cap compliance addition if they're doing the retool thing.

Again what teams are looking for a 2nd line center? Of those teams, which of those teams have the assets the Flames want? Of the teams with those assets, which of them are willing to pay that for a rental having a down year?

And this is why we can’t have nice things. Why can’t posters just take their own personal high roads if they’ve chosen not to believe what other posters who are seemingly connected post?? Dissentowner isn’t wrong with his breakdown either, a lot of insiders got Gaudreau wrong too and it’s because Gaudreau waffled in the 11th hour. Take it easy DT and know that a large contingent of CP is super appreciative of what posters like yourself have brought to the table. There’s a reason why a lot of non-flames fans come here for their hockey info first and it’s posters like you that keep this place informative and speculative all at the same time which is a hockey fans heaven. Why do people constantly have to beat this dead horse and ruin it?? Be better.

Agree. And much easier to cheer for without Alex Burrows, Kesler and Matt Cooke.

Y'all can read this very thread- he started this ####. I called him out for being so dismissive over a conversation, and it devolved into baby level throwing of #### immediately because the guy has no chill at all. His ego has consumed him, and it's all a raft of delusions. I don't care if anyone puts me on ignore, but don't appreciate being painted as a wanton ####### when I literally just replied to something he said first.

I always knew they were a rival and didn't want the Flames to ever lose to them but I never hated them like I hated the Oilers until I started posting on CP. The Canuck hatred was rich and I jumped on the bandwagon. Over the past 3 or 4 years I've really changed my tune on the team again. They're a rival and we need to beat them but they're not quite so despicable as they became in the 2000s when they had the likes of Bieksa, Kesler and Burrows.

Only Spurs with a new account can carry on Spurs' legacy. I see a total lack of respect going two ways right now. Lets get back to trade talk and I personally hope you continue to post your information even if some people have doubts.
