For some reason, my brother always gets my oldest kid a birthday present every year without fail, but has never bothered (or forgets) for my youngest.
Think I'm going to do the same for his kids this year. The funniest part being that his are twins.

Weird sure, but the kids fault?
I assume it’s like I was when the first couple people in my family and friend group had a kid. Excitement kicks in and you want to contribute. Well, then they all had 1-3… and I can’t buy gifts for everyone. And it’s hard to stop the chain on an individual you always buys gifts for. The answer is breaking the chain, but it’s not fun.

Oh...just thinking about this. The confusion, the questions the feelings...is delicious!!
I'd pay money to be in the room as the one Twin opens up a present and the other Twin is just...lost..."wait...what? What is happening here??"
And then they turn to their father with burning questions about Uncle Calf that he doesnt have answers to.
And then the Present itself. It has to be something that only 1 person could conceivably use. Not something that could be split or shared, like one of those paddles with the ball on an elastic, only 1 kid can play with that at a time...or a bracelet with that one specific kid's name engraved on it!
Oh yeah....just twist that knife!
I am not an 'Evil man' per se, but I do occasionally like to watch the world burn.

O'Doules is old news; there's so many good non alcoholic beers now from Corona, Heineken, Asahi, Carlsberg and even the new Guinness 0% which is amazing.
Related random story:
I went to a local BC Liquor, the largest location to buy some Guinness 0% and they were sold out.
The manager told me it was their #1 selling product in December.
Christmas month, massive liquor store, and the top selling product isn't even liquor.

Oh yeah, I am sure there are good non-alcoholic beers. I was just using that as an example of a non-alcoholic one that you can find in a grocery store that kids could theoretically bring to a til and buy, so it’s not like there is anything preventing them from buying them and drinking them wherever they want.
On that note, I actually prefer mocktails in most cases. I think the booze lends an off-putting flavour to a Caesar or margarita.

The “ask calgary” facebook page has got to be collectively one of the dumbest groups on all of facebook. Everything I see, I think, “you could have easily googled that”.

I find that most of the imported non-alc beers to be a little weak. The best are Paulaner, Erdinger and Guiness. Most of the others (Corona, Heniken, ect) are blown away by locals like Sea Change Straight Edge or No People Skills.

Weird. Corona is easily the best. Better than both sea change and the tool shed varieties. It tastes exactly like corona.

I’d agree with this for the most part. I had a non-alcohol hazy ipa a couple weeks ago that was actually quite tasty. Though I’m not normally a fan of that beer type which may have played into it.

I'm a degenerate station flipper in the car. No bluetooth or Sirius or anything. Just our local stations. When I like something I leave it. Might shazam it.
There has been this song. Figured it was a Chris Cornell song I had never heard. Weird, he's on the country station. Listen to it whenever it comes on. No, Its from Chris Stapleton?
So now I like a country song, what do I do?

He's one of the good ones. Talented singer/songwriter.
Elle King on the other hand is a piece of ####. She's Rob Schneider's daughter and grew up in L.A. (not Louisiana) but has the thickest southern accent you ever done heard. She was drunk on stage at the Grand Ole Opry (which is fine because #### that place) and disrespecting Dolly Parton.
Shame, Elle King. Shame.
