Need Popsicle on that 2nd line to chase pucks down… Coronato is not a good fit… line wasn’t very effective… if Markstrom was in net it’s be 5-1… Vladar was awesome and should always start against the oilers.

Oh boy. That’s some emotional hot garbage. They’re getting puck luck, have players who can execute, & surround them with their personal development rejects.

Any other team with the draft capital they have squandered wouldn’t be battling for a wild card position.

Hurts even more. If they would’ve played well, they could’ve won this game easily.

It was fine. Just fine.

Vladar played great. Everyone else was okay.

This is an okay team. Just okay. As our .511 record shows.

Looking at Skinner’s stats they don’t.

I'll take your word for it (not sarcastic).

I didn't mind the effort. The team were just not lucky tonight. I hate the Oilers so damn much.

This could be a slide to the bottom after these 6 home games. The team compete hard but is of bottom 5 quality.

At least this validates that this team needs to sell. Ugh, oilers face the blue jackets and the hawks before all star break.

Didn't even play that bad, just not a skilled enough team and had bad luck on the game winner.

The sad reality is this team isn't in Edmonton's league.
We'll be watching the playoffs and cheering for whoever faces Edmonton again.
Sure would be nice to be a top team and not just have to cheer against your rivals. That's all we got.

Thought they were the better team in the final 40. Lost on a bad bounce. Did not mind Klapka on the 4th line. Not sure if there is a market for Dube at all but would happily move him for a draft pick. The Flames have a lot of options at wing that they need to work into the lineup.

A whole bunch of this winning streak for the Oilers is luck, they really haven’t been playing great. They are having trouble scoring, and have getting breaks.

They have an extended losing streak coming up.

Selling a few key UFAs and the Flames still have a good shot at drafting 6th, which is really what they need.

Flames weren't prepared in the least for how the Oilers play. That is 100% in the coaching staff.

Huska is the most passive coach I can remember for the Flames. Gulutzan's system looks high octane in comparison.

Savard is epically under qualified and should have been replaced 20 games ago.

Trade the UFA's, tank and try another magic beans coach when you punt Huska 20 games into next season. Its the Flames way.
