Flames played well, unfortunate loss. But also don't have the truly elite players that come up with the big moments when needed.

Silver lining. Oilers will mistakenly feel like they don’t need to upgrade their goaltending.

BOA is so one sided it is not fun to watch anymore unfortunately.

Home team just dump the puck and fire check end up losing the puck. No speed entry into the o zone, losing all the board battle.

The Oilers is bad but the Flames is worst.

Some of you saw a different game than me. Team flubs passes all over the ice takes low percentage shots. Zero swagger.

They didn’t play well at all. Couldn’t complete simple passes or get through the neutral zone all night. Play seemed to be in the flames end the entire game.

Wasn't embarrassing, but Lindholm was pretty quiet.
Huberdeau around the puck.
As mentioned, Kadri line ineffective without Pospsil.
Coleman good. Backlund heard footsteps all game.
Tanev a beast.
Vladar played well.
4th line outside of Greer and a Klapka hit, not noteable.

A bad game against the Oilers to me is when McDavid and Draisaitl rack up four or five points each. This was a loss by a total fluke shot from behind the net that deflected in unbelievable fashion a few times.

Yes. I've been saying that for years. It's not a battle anymore, it's just another game. But the oilers take it serious. We don't. Or at least to the same extent. Maybe higher skilled players would vhsnve that. Or players that are thirsty for blood or maybe hate losing

Lots of reasons to watch these days in my opinion. 5 guys have made their NHL debuts, the youth is finally getting an opportunity, the team works hard every single night and the games are close more often than not.
