That's the thing, if it's not conclusive, or if it's not offside by a mile, you can bet on it that it's be called in Edmonton's favor.

Bad period, but gifting the Oilers a PP on a non-conclusive challenge is a good way to lose the game before the 2nd period has even started.

Flames just need to be better. Oilers are still in their heads.
The other difference is the time of the game
That’s real early to burn a time out.
Leafs did it in the third

He only had 15-20 seconds to look at it before the puck was dropped. That might not even be enough time to rewind one camera angle to the right place.

In fairness… it’s Victoria. Not a lot of natural ice.

Either way I now agree that there's no way the Flames would have won that challenge.
Flames would've gotten a 5 minute major for the challenge.

I hope someone asks Huska about this after the game, and his response is "In this league and against that team, there's no way we're getting that call."

Not going to argue with you or anyone else.

They have multiple screens and views, that are available immediately.

Dude, you don't have anymore of an idea of what's going on than anyone else. Video guy could have been in the bathroom for all anyone knows.

What’s more likely?
That the Flames guy looked at and advised it wasn’t worth challenging
Or that something like what you are proposing was happening
