I’ll take a one goal deficit after that period.

Honestly not even a bad time to burn the timeout if you’re wrong. The ice was tilted 45 degrees.

Needed the slow mo. Huska should have called the time out like Huska

Went back and looked at the replays. It was onside by literal centimeters when you went frame by frame. But no way the Flames looked at it that closely in the amount of time.
Huska or our esteemed Captain has to waste another 20 seconds, not rush to line up for the faceoff like it was a running clock.

I don’t think anything was clear about it on the replays we saw. It was close.
Not sure it was enough to overturn.

Singh is so bad it’s laughable, he called Lindholm Coleman and called Klapka Kadri. Like how do you even get those wrong, they play the opposite stick side

Lots of adjustments can be made to play against that. Unfortunately Huska's system is to sit back and hope the other team makes a mistake. The Flames aren't bringing their forwards back to help with the very aggressive forecheck of the Oilers, and the result is we are turning pucks over in our own end when our players are out numbered.
Flames were absolutley 100% not prepared for how hard the Oilers attack, which is 100% on our lame coaching staff.
Aggressive teams with skill eat out defensive system up. It's plain as day, but hey. Worked for Huska in Junior hockey.

You don't challenge a goal that isn't clear either way against the Oilers just because.
One way to completely dig a huge hole early in the game is to gift team PowerPlay another PP.

Can't Huska stall for a bit so the video guys can get a couple looks at the goal. Every other #####ing coach does it!

Still beats playing the 4th line when defending a lead with 2 mins left in the 3rd, like last year.

So…should I come in from the cold to watch the game or are we pulling off another BoA embarrassment?
