So let's say he's done 200 NHL English language games?
Ball does 75+ a season, plus a round or two of playoffs and this is his 9th season with the Flames. Before that he was the Western late game for HNIC year or two. Combined with a year doing the Jets and some games with Vancouver, he's got to be close to 850 NHL games.
He's also started doing full time PBP 29 years ago with Kelowna Rockets. And called CFL too for BC. Singh I don't think had any level of PBP experience before the Punjabi broadcasts.
Most announcers at the NHL level have a ton more experience before they get the job, and get a lot more experience, while on the job, so it's not Singh's fault, but relatively speaking, he's inexperienced for a top NHL broadcaster. Monster Truck Michaels is terrible TV, but he has a long history of radio experience, but the McDavid Oilers factor allowed the Oilers to pick their commentators to make sure the coverage was under their control....remember when they had John Shannon on regional broadcasts, when he was only HNic before that.

Singh has only been calling one game a week this whole time? What does he do all week long?

Watches videos of his boy McDavid and practices gushing over him and the Oilers.

He put Duehr on the 4th line
Sutter gets a bad reputation because of how he answered the Pelletier question in the media, and because he didn't put Phillips/Valimaki/Mackey in the lineup. Well all 3 of those players are healthy scratches or in the AHL. Everytime a young player ran with an opportunity he was given more rope.

You’re right. He did give guys some chances… but his leash for all of them was incredibly short. Most of the time all it took was one bad shift and they were benched, dropped to the fourth line or even healthy scratches next game. Hard for young players to thrive or try to use any of the skills that got them to where they are when they think a single mistake will get them dropped in the line up. Pelletier was playing great and he had one bad play in overtime where he went the wrong way (and the flames lost because of it). Next game, he was dropped to a lower line.

#### the Oilers and all their finger biting fans and their 1st overalls galore. Its disgusting what they get away with and the CBC jerk off with them.

Flames have better luck when I don’t watch so UFC it is tonight. Go flames, this is the only must win game for the rest of the year

I have been texted that Harnaryan Singh, Louie DeBrusk, and Scott Oake are the commentators for tonight's Battle of Alberta. Watch TVA Sports2 or listen to the Flames feed on SiriusXM radio channel 91 for a superior crew.

Jack Edwards at first glance sounds fun and exciting but he describes absolutely nothing that happens on the ice.
