Greig is 21 and already looks really good at the NHL level. Moving a 1st for a guy like him would be perfectly fine.

He's what you hope a late 1st round pick turns into.

His underlying stats and production are almost identical to Zary's this year at 5v5, it's actually a bit uncanny.

I'd be shocked if the Sens would move him...but it would be like trading for another Zary who is a year younger if you could.

Yeah
That would be good
I’m just not totally convinced that our UFAs are going to bring us first rounders and if they do bring one or two, they will most likely be very late first rounders
What happened last time we had multiple first rounders
All I’m saying is that sometimes decent prospects aren’t a bad idea either

my prediction is that Toronto will do it's trading around the All-Star game...just to make that weekend even more about them.

Ottawa may trade Pinto because of signing issue and he is in all kind of trouble

But there is no reason for them to trade Greig for picks or rentals

Meh. If they are late firsts then I’m fine with the strategy of getting some younger guys unless you think they are good enough to keep getting the flames to 16th overall

If you are the Sharks and need a plug/journeyman then you get one in the off season coming off a down year for close to league min. Where the Sharks are they would have zero interest in spending more useless money while they bottom out.

Yeah, and they look like they have top 6 upside which is pretty hard to get with a late 1st round pick.

Nah, he's just taking a few reps at the Pocket Dawg stand to try to break out of his funk.

Dube might be banged up. He's taken some punishment in the last couple games

We don’t play the Avs until march 12 so definitely scouting for a trade.

He had all that time on the Bench last game to recover.

Find out if he’s on waivers in less than an hour. Or sooner if there is a deal.

Sam Girard is really the only player that fits the Flames trade profile that will be playing for the Avs.

Byram doesn't look to be playing.

...could always be scouting Morgan Frost/the Flyers

Would allow them to move Tanev.

Not sure how you replace a 1C though. Probably the hardest position to fill. But Lindholm is a borderline 1C to begin with.

Should know soon.
