Awful
Way to suck the fun out of a game.

Flames have been in more games this season than I remember. Not many stinkers. All I can hope for. But these hand passes need to be reconsidered by the league. It’s insane.

Annoying loss. That of kind of challenge nonsense just sours the game.

Can't wait to see what BS goes on in the oilers game coming up...

The NHL sure did a good job of taking the excitement out of scoring a goal. Nothing like waiting for the puck drop to be able to actually celebrate.

Vladar kept us in it.

A bit too sloppy by his teammates to pull that one out of the fire.

The officiating was something else.

Ruzicka did diddly squat with his chance tonight, much like Dube last game. Get some farm guys up instead.

Vladar made some big saves. Hopefully upped that trade value.

Debatable hand pass at best, call on the ice should have stood. They looked at every angle to call it back. Ridiculous call considering the Forsberg BS earlier this season

The smug look on his face while they were reviewing it was enough that my non-hockey friends commented on it at the bar we were at.

All went downhill after we lost Pospisil.

That was a bit ridiculous. It hit him accidentally. I’m sure he didn’t even see it.

I'm ok with the hand-pass goal coming back as far as the rules go... however I question the ability to call a timeout first in order to decide and then challenge the goal.

Teams should have a set amount of time to make the decision to challenge or not.

Reviews were supposed to make things better. In reality it’s killing the game’s excitement. As usual, job well done NHL.

I agree. Massive difference between Pospisil and Ruzicka.

One looks like he’s playing for his life. The other looks like he’s public skating at Bowness park with his girlfriend.

Get rid of coaches challenge for everything but a challenge the puck crossed the goal line. The league is inconsistent about their own rules and it just slows down and ruins the game. I don't give a crap if a guy had his toe slightly over for offside, I don't want them calling a play goalie interference and then 3 days later the same damn play happens in another game and it's a good goal. Being able to challenge for a missed hand pass (which they have no idea wtf that is either) is absolutely ridiculous. The game was fine and better for years without this sideshow.

Still don't think it's conclusive that you can 100% say Oesterle plays that puck first.

You can assume based on the direction the puck goes but it's not 100% conclusive IMO.

Flames looked a lot quicker than the Leafs (who are supposed to be a cup contender, which is a joke in itself).

Refs were atrocious even though I thought technically the correct call was made unfortunately on the Flames tying goal. Are we really surprised though? The league has the worst officials in all of sports.

Flames had many more opportunities to get the puck on the net but strangely kept putting it into a Leaf (especially in the 3rd). 5 shots in the 3rd is atrocious.

Lindholm was buttery soft all night.
