It looked from the one angle that Tavares touched it first but that doesn't matter either way. The cardinal sin of the puck glancing off the glove was enough to override anything.

If it didn’t clearly go to a Flame it’s not a hand pass, by definition. And you are giving way too much credit to officials. I bet they just assumed it went to a Flame because they ended up with it.
