Spin the NHL decision wheel, likely. My guess is it wouldn't count.
Coleman's one vs the Oilers hit his stick after the purported kick, didn't it?

Alright, worked against Arizona when I posted it, I have faith that Ryan Huska will have these guys come out on fire come the 3rd. Let's go!

If the Leafs defender didn't knock it in Backlund? would have banged it in anyway.

That’s a good question. It’s a no goal if you kick it in, but can you kick the puck towards the net and deflect it in off something?

Puck would have gone wide with the original kicking motion

Game was destined to go this way because TO has to TO.

We've got this.

If the Leafs player didn't touch it, it wouldn't have gone in and yes Backlund would've. But if it went if without the Leafs player touching it, my guess it wouldn't have counted.

This must be what it's like to be a Mariners fan when the Jays come to town. So obnoxious.

After it was already in

That should have been a goal anyway

Honestly just get this to OT.

But if you want to go ahead and implode the city of Toronto tonight feel free to do that as well.

In a league where incompetence runs high, allowing referees to determine what a distinct kicking motion is seems silly. Simplicity is needed in the NHL because the standards they enforce change day to day.

It's crazy the Leafs think they are gonna win a cup playing like this

Their players are all about their stats

So we tried a good period and a bad period. Hopefully they see the good period is the better path.

Sarich is right. That late goal mimics Matthews’ late goal in the first.

Flames in January actually have great first and third periods.
