Deservedly so. He's a gentle giant but so skilled.

Nice, play him Saturday on the 4th line instead of Ruzicka or Dube.

Smash Kane.

Profit.

Love it. Can’t wait to see how he does. He’s the one guy on the farm I was hoping they would give a shot to. I think he’s a tailor made 4th liner. Big, can skate, can be physical.

Greer, Klapka, Dube will be a pretty good 4th line.

Wonder how long Gilbert will be out for.

Don't expect Klapka to be all that physical. He's all finesse.

I wrote a feature story on him earlier this season:

Yeah if people expect Klapka to come in and be a physical force they might be dissapointed.

He uses his size effectively but generally isn't a guy that runs around a whole lot, and he's not afraid to fight but he's also not a very good fighter (IMO).

I don't mind this - Klapka deserves a shot, but I do start to wonder what the plan is with Coronato.

Obviously the Flames aren't calling Coronato up to play on the 4th line, but they do need to make room for him to get back into the show sooner than later. He's done nothing but produce in the AHL with 29 points in 26 games or whatever it is.

Pelletier is also going to be pushing to get back in as well so does this mean that Dube and Ruzicka are the next on the list to hit waivers to make room for two prospects that should be in the NHL? At some point Wolf needs to stick as well.....many many things that need to take shape in the coming weeks.

Greer-Ruzicka-Klapka

All have size, skill and can skate.

Really like that 4th line.

In a 4th-line role, I'm more interested in his defensive ability; especially if he plays in front of the rookie in goal.

Can he Klap for the Wolfman?

Probably because they like the flames first 3 lines and don’t want to disrupt those. Coronato can’t play 4th line minutes.

The only free spot I see in the top three lines is Mangiapane getting swapped if they want Coronato or Pelletier in. Although a Lindholm trade would change things up a bit.

No point breaking up Zary Kadri Pospisil. Huberdeau and Sharangoalvich are clicking. Backlund and Goalman have to stay together.

I think there’s a decent chance the flames end up trading Lindholm, Vladar and Dube at the TDL. Depending on if/what roster players end up coming back, that could open spots for Coronato, Pelletier and Wolf. I know none of them play center (to replace Lindholm) but they might try to transition Zary or Sharangovich to center for the last quarter of the season.

Mangiapane does well with Backs and Coleman. I wouldn't want to break that up either. They've played well together historically.

Pospisil's game needs to rub off on Klapka.
