Not surprised. After his shooting percentage bender wore off it was hard to justify keeping him in the lineup. Wonder who they replace him with.

I wonder who's coming up or the reason for the move?

He was an effective 4th liner last year, but he's lost his way.

Hopefully some meaningful time down with the Wranglers will get his legs going again.

He's not been good. Don't think any corresponding moves need to be made.

They'll want to have an extra forward. Sending Duehr down leaves them with 12.

With Wolf up, they're at the maximum roster size.

As Ryan Pike explained on Twitter over the weekend, Kylington's LTIR conditioning loan expires after Friday's Wranglers' game. After that, they can put him on a regular conditioning loan for another 2 weeks, but that requires moving him to the Flames' active roster. So, this could be just to clear that roster space.

Man I was hoping for so much more. He seemed reliable and composed when he came up. Made a statement at the time.

Disappointing, but not unexpected given current performance level.

Wolf will be sent down today or tomorrow I assume and, is Pelletier ready yet? Otherwise, looking for a 4L RW? Klapka!

Dube has probably actually been worse but they won't waive him, since he'd probably get claimed.

I remember you not being overly impressed with his game last year when he was called up, after watching him in the A.

He did make an immediate impact, with his speed and hustle. But the scoring touch might have been a bit of a mirage and this year, it just feels like he is skating around out there.

Hopefully something changes for him but no one said being an NHLer was easy.

You could tell by Huska's response in the post game yesterday that he wasn't that impressed with Duehr. When asked about how he thought Duehr played, he gave kind of a deflated "he was ok" response.

It's too bad, he was a beast last season. I almost kind of hope someone claims him and gives him a shot. He is the kind of player you want to root for, but I am not sure if he fit here anymore.

He looked so fast last year, kinda like Pospisil looks this year. Too bad, really thought we found something in Duehr. Really goes to show how hard it is to not just make the NHL but to also stick for a career.

Rooney and Pelletier are still week-to-week.

It just felt a little suspect. He was never a scorer in college or the A.

When he came up it also looked like he was going 110% every night. That's pretty hard to maintain. Most guys don't. But when you play a style that depends on the energy you provide, it's hard to justify your presence when that energy goes away.

I thought that was a question about Dube playing up the roster.

I'm not sure on the comment from Huska, but I agree that this guy is the type of guy you hope can be given a shot elsewhere.
