I still don’t like some of the decisions Kadri makes with the puck on his stick but damn if he didn’t play like a leader tonight. Played with energy and skill and a ton of determination.

Sharangovich is going to create a lot of assists for whoever plays with him. I feel like his release has gotten way quicker. Maybe that’s just me, but it felt like he was loading up a lot earlier in the season.

Flames now on an 88 point pace. I always thought they needed to get to 90 point pace before playoffs were a legit possibility. They’re almost there.

As much as Huberdeau struggled for a long while, we clearly missed him tonight

Kadri and Vladar both great tonight

3-2 to the good guys

I know a lot of people thought the Flames had an off night (until half way through the 3rd), but I disagree - I thought it was a really good game, really intense and lots of skating, and both defenses just played fantastic.

I thought that was maybe the best game the Flames have played defensively this year, and the Yotes were even better! They closed gaps, got sticks on everything, backed each other up, and made life difficult for the Flames all over the ice. Kudos to the Flames for pushing through it.

I thought this was very much like a playoff game

On the OT goal, Kadri almost rang the puck around the boards out of the zone. Luckily Sharky turned on the jets to get it. No doubt though that Kadri has the fire in his eyes this year after seemingly checking out last year (which might have been Sutter)

Sharan-snapshot!! Wow again. The guy is unbelievable.
Great summary.

I really like Kadri's game too.

You just know what's coming... they'll play great against the Leafs and get everyone on board, then they'll #### the bed against the Oil and we'll all jump off bridges.

That's just how it always is.

Can't believe how many negative comments there have been about Vladar, both in the game thread and here - the guy was stellar tonight.

Vladar is now 3-1-1 in his last 5, with a .910 sv%, and ~2.6GAA

Coleman matches his career high in points

Coleman now leads the NHL in 3rd period goals

A great save by Hanifin in the last minute of play

Sharangovich with a beautiful release in OT, I guess he didn't want to be the lone scorer in the shootout again.

The Flames are 7-3 in the last 10, and 2 points back of EDM, despite their winning streak, we're keeping pace.

Huberdeau was missed on both the Lindholm line, and the first PP tonight.

I didn't like Dube, Ruzicka, or Duehr in this one. Greer had a couple of decent plays on the PK, and one good shot glove side.

Kadri had multiple looks throughout the game. Awesome pass by Pospisil on his goal.

This game was a snooze-fest for 45 mins, and then the Flames found a spark.

Ingram has a pretty good glove hand. Hope Kesselring gets to sit for a game or two after the crosscheck on Zary.

PK was flawless again.

What I really like is that he gave credit to the kid right away after he scored, that's leadership.

Last few mins it was fast, physical, calculated and definitely both teams were competing hard. It was fun to watch and you’re right definitely felt like playoff hockey.

Sleepy first two periods, but boy did they get their act together in the 3rd. Arizona is not as good as they seemed to be in the first half of the season either. Sharangovich is lethal right now.
