For the record, Wyshinski went on this rant over a Twitter post by Canucks beat writer, and annoying dweeb Thomas Drance saying Fox is no where near as good as Hughes.
The irony of this is ofcourse that Thomas Drance is one of the guys in market who continues to peddle negativity. Regularly suggesting (much the same as many here) that the Canucks actually suck and the current position in the standings is all a mirage. His favourite words this season have been "Unsustainable" and "Points Percentage" any time he has a chance to talk about it.
I (and a lot of Vancouver sports personalities) think it's hilarious that a tweet from a guy known for his negativity and anger at people being happy about the Canucks success is what set Wysh off to caution Canucks fans about being cocky.

Wyshinski is Seravalli level garbage.
Hockey media would be much better off without either of those clickbait garbage "insiders"

Everyone hates Canuck fans already - they're the worst (excluding the clown show up north).
Them getting cocky simply fuels the fire.

None of it makes sense, though. Last year you had Miller, Petterson, and Horvat who could all play center very well. Who was their best D after Quinn Hughes? Tyler Myers?

I'll believe a lot about this organization doing stupid #### internally. I have a hard time believing this one was suggested as an actual solution

You can put money on it to happen this April/May. Especially with how they're playing now, but you know they won't win it all, which will inevitably lead to riots, burning of the downtown core and blaming of it on the bridge/tunnel crowd from Ladner, Surrey since nobody from VanCity proper would do that!

Nobody in Van City could do that. No one can afford to live there. It's empty. There is only bridge and tunnel crowd remaining.

Canucks, management, non player management is a mess. Senior level people leaving in droves. The Aquilini's have moved their hospitality personnel over to the arena side and it has been a disaster. 5 senior positions including ice and building are open. I have been approached about coming back but they are not really selling it very well.
How has Zadorov looked? I really liked him and thought the Flames would miss him but in reality they have not. Neither have I to be honest. I would have happily had him back if the price was right but I guess I am glad I am not in charge of those decisions.

So the rioters.
To be fair to the bridge & tunnelers, most legit sports fans in Vancouver are from those areas. Actual Vancouverites barely care about sports.
Maybe some East Van Whitecaps fans but not many real Canucks or Lions fans.

Rick Dhaliwal confirmed what Bruce There It Is leaked over the weekend about someone in the organization giving him the recommendation to move Hughes to C last season lol. Rick also said there's no way in hell he is going to share who that person is, which likely means they're still there! Ha! Ha!

It was Aquilini. No, I'm not kidding.

Fine. A great 5/6 defender that you can put into the top four for short periods and not have him look out of place. A small gaff or two made up for by his hard hitting, good skating play style. He's not getting the deal he wanted from the Flames from the Canucks either. I hope he tones it down and takes a more reasonable offer, because I'd like to keep him but also don't want Myers deal to expire and us turn around and sign another younger Myers.

haha he was 6th in ice time the other night...his agents shrewd move sure paid off
Flames record has improved they miss their "#1 dman" so much
Honestly Zadorov is pushing it to get his current deal let alone a raise
