Dick-tator-For-A-Day Donny is helluva way for Resident Rump to campaign, but also not surprising...

***

Silly question: as a fan of Line of Duty (a fictional UK crime drama featuring Anti Corruption Unit of police force that protects the public and the force from the threat of police corruption), could there ever be an Anti-Corruption/Accountability Unit that "polices" politicians? As I even type this I realize how much of a pipedream it is and how much staffing would be required to operate such a thing...truly tired of the blatant lies and misleading of politicians to get elected and gain power at any costs...

Trump wins the Iowa caucus with over 51% of the votes currently. No other candidate has broken 1,000 votes yet, with DeSantis being the distant second place vote-getter at 990 votes or 21%. Haley comes in at 19% or 893 votes and Vivek managed to get 346 votes or 7%. Ready or not, Trump 2024 is happening!

Hahaha they've already called it for Trump. I wasn't clear in my post though as counting is still happening.

Rumours that Vivek is dropping out of the race after a very poor showing. Fox is projecting DeSantis to finish 2nd.

You thought this was actually a race?

It will be decided in the courts if Trump 2024 is happening not at the polling stations

GOP is a cult, they are gonna vote for the clown no matter what

It’s ironic, Biden is a deeply religious man, attends mass every week nearly and yet republicans see Trump as more religious.

Well Trump supporters are basically a cult, or a lot of them anyways. Religions are basically a cult, well a lot of them. No surprise they're made for each other.

Because the guy they're supporting has been married multiple times and cheated on every one of his wives. Unprotected sex with a porn star. Many, many sexual assault allegations. Been caught on tape bragging about sexually assaulting women. Who knows what else he's done over the years, or on Epstein Island.

So religious people supporting Trump doesn't say as much about Trump as it clearly says everything about the religious people supporting him. They don't care. They're supporting a disgusting person, and it suits them just fine. Values? What values?

Brutal night for Haley. She’s got one shot left and that’s a massive surprise in New Hampshire. I stupidly thought there was a chance this might turn into a race. Might not even make it to Super Tuesday.

So the mostly white, evangelical Christian state of Iowa voted overwhelmingly for Trump. I'm shocked, I tell you. Shocked!

Problem is Biden is a Catholic. Many evangelicals despise catholicism.

I can't tell if you're describing Trump or the average Evangelical. They love him because they see themselves in him. They're all ####ing hypocrites.
