I think he was exhausted. The PP had been on the ice a while at that point (90 seconds) and he was all over the ice on that PP.

Maybe we should also pry that Chinakov guy out of CBJ, he's got one hell of a one-timer!

I hardly remember what it's like to have a first line that can put up goals when needed.

A really tough schedule over those 32 games as well.

They really need to move Lindholm and Tanev since they can't walk for nothing but really the team is fun to watch and starting to become likeable again.
Thanks I was going to ask someone

I love Sharangovich's demeanor. He just act like it's no big deal and always looks to give his line mates props first.

Scorangoalvich is better...IMO.

But I agree...there needs to be a special name for a hat-trick with a PP goal, an ES goal and a shorty.

I mean...thats pretty special.

It's 3/5ths of a Lemieux.

You just need to rotate the dog to make a "C" and we're all set lol.

Watching the highlights with Huberdeau and Sharangovich is fun, great chemistry.

Goalie equipment wasn't nearly as huge as it is today either. Look how small the old goalies were in net (granted some were actually small goalies too)

I'm not an expert, but modern goalie equipment is light so you can move quickly.

That stuff was leather. It weighed a ton.

Leather got heavier as the game went on as it absorbed all the moisture on the ice. IIRC In 1985, Flames goalie Reggie Lemelin was the first to wear leg pads made of high-density foam, which were twice as light as the standard pads that were made of leather and horsehair at the time. Lemelin paved the way for virtually all modern leg pads worn today.

Imagine if Huberdeau played center and had both those guys on the wing... 🫣
