Lol, if not a relative that'd be borderline trolling. I'm old enough to remember Bassen and that 98-99 season

And yeah the league appears to know what the Flames players are thinking/intending when calling our goals off. The Sens player even with help laid on Markstrom like a starfish, knowing exactly what he was doing.
For sticking up for the goalie it wouldn't be the worst challenge.

And it's worth the risk that a goal could come off the board in exchange for the risk of taking a penalty.
Any goal interference call us probabky a 50-50 call. That's worth the risk when you consider the PP would converts at a 20% rate at best
Not challenging is coaching scared IMO. Coaching not to lose instead of coaching to win.

It sort of feels like lately, the bounces just haven't been going the Flames way. Lots of posts by Flames players and tons of ricochet off skates and body parts directly into the Flames net.

If Sharangovich doesn’t bury it, posters complain that Huberdeau passes (instead of trying a low percentage close in backhand).

Lindholm finally shows up. There was no call coming with Lindholm held and then piled on too.
