Sorry for mentioning it lol
This should be called the crypto butthurt thread

How is mentioning crypto pumping before a major event not worth discussing.
BEFORE

History! Lol my history in this thread has been pretty sound compared to "2000 peak bubble"

You haven't posted in here in 18 months while crypto has been down, but as soon as it goes back up, boom here you are to booster.

You didn't come in and discuss points about whatever this specific major event is. You came to give a BTC quote with hopes of stirring up your usual irrelevant back patting.

seems like something worth discussing
I doubt a ton of money comes in, there are only so many of you around, the rest of us see crypto as no more than an endless world of ponzi schemes and vehicles for theft.

The last couple of years coupled with the fact that nothing has changed mean that's how the world sees crypto, it is swampland in Florida or Llama farming, the swamp, the Llama's exist but everyone involved is either a victim or a predator

Blackrock
Vs.
Rando haters on CP

Anyone reading can do what they chose

We were in the cold part of the crypto cycle, there was nothing to post about. Almost all crypto is up since I posted, another 3% today for BTC.

Sorry for relaying the info

If I was bragging after the fact you guys would have a point...I tried to let people know before the pump. Do you go to the stock thread and get mad at people for saying something is about to go up and then double down when they are correct.

Maybe stop being so butthurt about something you obviously don't understand.

BTC is up 170% this year and you're right I hadn't posted so obviously I'm not just here to brag.

There is a ton of boomer money out there that would invest if it was offered through their trusted broker.

IMO

I've held some Bitcoin for a couple of years now and just forgot about it this year. Looks like I'm up 199% this year but still down 53% overall since starting my crypto investing.

It's just so volatile and full of lies and noise.
Sure people have and can get stupidly rich by timing it perfectly, but so many people bought in at higher points that they're still going to be down right now, even with BTC gains back this year.
Just luck of timing I guess.

Crypto Firm SafeMoon Files for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, SFM Plunges 42%

The firm's executives were arrested last month on multiple charges.

Chapter 7 bankruptcies result in a debtor’s assets being liquidated to repay creditors. Unlike the Chapter 11 bankruptcies other crypto companies have filed under, there’s usually no intent to restructure and relaunch the company.

SafeMoon’s executives were arrested last month by U.S. officials on charges of securities fraud conspiracy, wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering conspiracy tied to allegations that CEO John Karony, CTO Thomas Smith and creator Kyle Nagy misappropriated millions in investor assets and lied to customers.

I'll probably hold.
It's small amounts anyway, nothing life changing to take out.
Will wait til a bitcoin is $1 Million so it's at least something significant

bump

again if you are interested in Bitcoin and crypto in general maybe listen to people that actually know what they are talking about and have made hundreds of thousands of dollars in the space rather than butthurt posters who have just been hating since day one. The cycle is going exactly as predicted and the ETF seems like 90% or so approval.

If the approval happens I can assure you more money is coming in, a lot more

PSA take it or don't

Uh huh. Please show a chart or article from 2020 or earlier on how it would peak in Nov 2021, then crash to 25% of it's value, then wait a few years before launching back 2 years later.

Did you sell at the last peak, or hold on knowing it would lose 75% but held anyway, for...reasons? Because if you didn't sell, you didn't predict this either. It's no surprise you have decided to start posting now.

Just because people say "it'll go back up!" doesn't mean someone predicted this. That's not how it works.

It’s gonna be -20C later this week, and back up to temps in the 30s come summer. You heard it here first. Trust me on this. Don’t check your weather apps, get your weather advice from me, a rando CP user with no evidence of meteorological education or professional role.

PSA take it or don’t.

I’ll be back in July/August to say I told ya so.

Or you could look at my SPECIFIC post from A MONTH AGO about the incoming ETF that if approved will pump tons of money into crypto...the one that was mocked my the usual suspects. Looks like it will be approved, probably 90% or better.

you are lame dude, I posted specifically about the ETF upcoming DECEMBER 5th and how it would likely be approved and how it would pump BTC and you mocked me

we aren't talking about me saying months or years ago that it would go up and bragging when it does ect.

Although if we want to go there the usual suspects said it was done about 10X now. Look early in this thread if you want to see who was right me or Fuzz

Up $4000 per coin since my December 5th post and if the ETF is approved that will offer stability and cash inflow

Blackrock believes it will be approved Wednesday

Not financial advice, take it or leave it...historically accurate though

go to the Stonks thread and mock people that have been correct with their picks over time...you would look stupid

There will be some major stuing in this thread for years to come haha

You'd be a fool not to get in on this.
hmm, imagine mocking the idea of $15000 bitcoin in 2018 and having the gull to call me out today as Bitcoin prices sit over $62,000 Canadian

like I said earlier, follow these obvious hater posters if you want bad advice

if you are actually interested in crypto investing I have a great track record, my educated price predictions are worth a read

https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/a...climate-change

Canada generates about 600TWh yearly, for reference. This is all essentially wasted energy. Steam recently stopped accepting Bitcoin due to transaction charges rising from $0.2 to $20! Could you imagine a Visa transaction costing $20, even on a purchase of $1, and burning 1/4 of your monthly electrical bill? It's madness.
peak bubble in 2017, more sound advice from Fuzz

hmmm

post history is a wonderful thing

The irony is you guys mock me for saying "it will go back up" like any fool could do that but we have multiple posts of people calling the end of crypto and then doubling down. Its not even the case anyway over the years I have talked about specific events like the having and this ETF.

Maybe, just maybe I know more than resident Crypto haters

as for this you didn't sell when it at peaks or crashes talk I never said I am the all knowing but I have also NEVER been down on Crypto and never will.

this is 1920s New York real estate, I will probably never sell...sure we had the dirty 30s but I will leverage my future Bitcoin to earn money on it while holding like any smart investor

And yet none of the issues around the functionality or usefullness of Bitcoin have been addressed. NFT's were rightfully mocked, and look at them now. Bitcoin still has no intrinsic value, so it is only driven by people speculating others believe it has more value than you payed. That's it.

And you didn't answer my question if you sold all your BTC before the last crash, oh great oracle.

If I'm not mistaken Bitcoin has been around 15 years as of today exactly.

It's lowest price ever was $0.05 a year and a half later.

It's highest price was $85,656.04 and it's current price is $62,745.38

Been around for quite a long time and seen some massive price appreciation for something that is supposedly useless.

The crypto cycle lasts about 4 years, and it's about to go into another bull market if you believe the cycle will repeat once again.

Anyone putting money into crypto right now might see 100's or even 1,000's of X's on their initial investment over the next year to a year and a half. Or not. Time will tell I guess.
