Yes, he clearly could have stopped that if he developed another joint between his knee and his ankle, otherwise where the puck was when the contact occurred, there was no way to get the pad to the ice because the pad was off the ice and the puck was under the pad at the time of contact

That and Lindholm's stick pushes his pad. It was one motion of redirect but his stick doesn't move and pushes the pad in. It's not immediately obvious but the slo-mo reviews show it pretty easily. We'd be pissed if roles were reversed.

Disagree. That play is one consistent motion. That type of goal should be allowed in my opinion. The BS where a guy hacks and wacks and blatantly pushes the pad in should not. It’s really not that difficult in my opinion.
