Flames' commentators "have no problem with the call."

I agree with Millen. It would be nice to get a bit more detail rather than just 'no goal'. Tell us exactly why it was turned over.

Yes, he clearly could have stopped that if he developed another joint between his knee and his ankle, otherwise where the puck was when the contact occurred, there was no way to get the pad to the ice because the pad was off the ice and the puck was under the pad at the time of contact

If there's nothing else he can do, it still doesn't take away the fact that what he did was illegal and the goal shouldn't count.
Haha okay. Does anybody even know wtf is legal or illegal in the NHL any more? There is zero consistency.

That and Lindholm's stick pushes his pad. It was one motion of redirect but his stick doesn't move and pushes the pad in. It's not immediately obvious but the slo-mo reviews show it pretty easily. We'd be pissed if roles were reversed.

And #### off with the 'Wideman Effect' bull####. Let it go.

Move on and get it back. Tough how the last too goals we've scored have been disallowed.

I just realized Chicago has 8 guys on IR. That is a rough lineup.

Disagree, when we’re under review, the consistency is almost always scientifically precise.

Goal or no goal, what’s most frustrating is that this is an extremely accurate statement

Didn't we challenge one recently and it was determined that our own player drove the person in... like here.

Disagree. That play is one consistent motion. That type of goal should be allowed in my opinion. The BS where a guy hacks and wacks and blatantly pushes the pad in should not. It’s really not that difficult in my opinion.

That's some tinfoil fodder right there haha.

I doubt the refs are saying: "NEVER FORGET that almost ten-year-old Denis Wideman incident, make sure to remind everyone during a Flames games in 2024 against the Rockford IceHogs."
