I'm kinda betting that there will be.
He's only played 8 games this season for Leipzig so it seems like they dont want him.
Thats just a guess though.

Ah...thats even better then. Risk-free deal.
I actually think Werner would complement Son really well.
Granted, I want him to fail hard for Spurs but succeed for Germany.

Can you imagine some of the rants Huberdeau would be getting on AFTV? Would be unhinged on a whole new level.

That would be 'must watch' television.

I don't watch it, I just know it still exists because I still see re-tweets on my timeline on occasion. But it's obviously post-apex, those last Wenger years were the peak.

I've only ever seen the cherry-picked highlights.
I understand 'British TV' to the point that I dont believe any of it, and a football club's dedicated channel? Any club's channel...
There isn't enough salt in the world to take any of that seriously.
But its still funny.

The thing that is "wrong" with the move is that it stops from bringing in a player that we actually need.
Werner sucks and has all the same issues with the guys we already have- no finishing ability and misses sitters. He isn't a true number 9, doesn't help with hold up play, doesn't really allow us to play any different style.
He is a warm body with a big name that placates our weak fans into saying "if Ange wants him, I want him" without caring if the guy is actually any good.

Man. You really arent any fun.
Maybe...if you're giving your coach the benefit of the doubt, it might turn out okay?
I mean, Klopp has had players purchased because 'he wants them' and many have turned out to be world-class.
A few have faltered.
Its not your money, give it a whirl! You need bodies regardless.

but then he can't be miserable all the time while also calling the own fanbase "weak". Can't have that.

Oh man, I dont even know what the definition of a 'weak' fanbase even is.
Liverpool went through a loooong domestic drought...the place was still packed.
I think if City faltered maybe some of their fans might stay away, but the hardcores have been through tough times before.
Look at Newcastle! One of the longest suffering clubs in the league...no issues with attendance that I'm aware of.
Spurs fans should be used to disappointment. Thrive on it! Be nourished by it! Its like being a Flames fan!
And then when the success does come (if) its like a starved man being fed a perfect steak!
And I say this as someone who is used to being miserable all the time.

I mean he wasn’t great in the EPL, but Chelsea did win the CL with him, and a lot of his time was playing with fat Frank as manager who probably wasn’t exactly a tactical genius or getting the most from that squad. And yeah, it’s a good deal because it’s a loan with an option and that option is said to be €15-20m. If he’s brutal, it’s wages (which we just cleared in sending Lloris out if you’re concerned with other people’s money). If he look’s reinvigorated (because he wants to play in the Euros, because he fits the style of big Ange or whatever), and we buy a useful striker for that kind of money it’s a screaming deal. Who else can you get for that? Maybe Eric Dier?
And just to add, maybe he’s good for 15 goals a year. Spurs supporters have been spoiled with Kane and Son for the last decade or so. Those kinds of scorers are easily found, and who else do you want to see in a January window?

The similarity to me between Klopp and what we’re doing here is building a team and getting players in who hopefully work in the system. It’s a little different from the idea of spending on the big name and praying they’re going to come together or conform to a system.
And sometimes it works. Spurs supporters were mad about Levy getting the bargain basement option of Vicario when we were linked to David Raya. But, more money doesn’t always mean better and Vicario has been immense for us.
And Moon is just his usual self here. Here we are, battered by injuries, and we’re a point out of top four with those players who had us deservedly at the top of the table slowly starting to make their way back. It’s a million times more exciting and promising than it was a year ago! There’s a sense of optimism and belief in the future that we haven’t seen since 2015. And yet, the guy who has a username from this very club is loathe to admit it.

I mean it's January, there aren't going to be many options available, or you'll have to spend stupid money like £100 million on Ivan Toney. It's unlikely this move works, but not impossible, and the cost is virtually nothing. It's pretty much a shoulder shrug from me.

If we had a quality manager (not person) like Klopp I would give him the benefit of the doubt but instead we have a donkey like Ange who is effing clueless.
Werner has spent the past 4 years showing he is ####, I wouldn't be surprised if RB Leipzig threw a party today to celebrate getting rid of him. That is not the level of player anyone should want, let alone a club that pretends it is a big club.
