Brutal reffing in that period. First Couturier should have gotten a cross-checking penalty, before Greer got the roughing call. And the call on Weegar, to give them what? their 4th PP in a row? was absolutely atrocious.

Refs got what they wanted though - a tie game.

That's the good part to hear...he's not thinking, he's doing, by feel. JH's (and most talented offensive players) problem has been that he's been thinking too much with the puck and that split second of thinking is enough to screw up the play.

If players like that just go by natural feel, they do much better, and that goal was a perfect example...he felt the backside pressure and pulled it across but kept the puck in a spot where he can get it back to his forehand for the shot.

For a team that Tortarella earlier in the season confidently claimed “have balls” the Flyers have drawn a bunch of penalties today on soft plays. What was Lindholm supposed to do once he had committed to his check? The only reason the Flyers got a powerplay out of that was sympathy for the fact the player looked injured. Lindholm actually looked to have tried to stop up in my eyes. I hope the Flames find their groove and can close this game out against the Philly pouters.
