Sounds like we have a real chance at Gallagher, would be very happy this window with him and dragusin, who romano says is almost complete
Jota makes a ton of sense too and would be cheap for an attacker, played with ange at Celtic so should be able to hit the ground running if we can get him in the next week or so as cover for son

Haha ya, one that was at celtic with ange, moved to saudi league but wasnt registered this window for play, I think theres a max on foreigners
Hes a winger, so would be cover on left for son, basically a replacement for perisic who's out for the year

Van de ven either back friday, or if not vs united next week in the league
Guessing bench friday with short cameo and start next week
Means he and romero should be back together by end of month, for at least a few games before romero gets suspended again

By then we might have sealed the deal on Dragusin though!
I saw that United pushed to have Onana play against us on the 14th and then travel to play in AFCON on the 15th. First, let me say that I’m happy to have him against us. But this is the kind of double standard that shouldn’t be allowed. Everyone else has to send their players away and do with out them.

VDV's speed is so essential running the high line Ange likes. Will be good to have him back

I don’t know if anyone else is watching the Palace/Everton FA Cup game. Dominic Calvert-Lewis was just sent off for the dumbest red card you’ll ever see though. I don’t even know if there was any contact, let alone serious foul play or intent to injure. VAR being VAR though.

Yeah she's a bad one. Ref didn't even blow for a foul.

It didnt look like his studs were up. Thats going to have to be a hell of an explanation.

I think it's up to the individual FAs on whether they would allow their player to play for their club or not. In this case, I read that Onana came out of international retirement for this tournament so the Cameroonians owe him one and allowed him to stay later and play.

Yeah, it kind of feels very 'NHL-esque' where the spirit of the idea of VAR is that they have the opportunity to correct something that the on-field official missed, but that whats really happening is more like:
"Oh! They kicked it up to us! Our time to shine! We have to find something!! To the Thunderbirds VAR Team!!! HERE WE COME TO SAVE THE DAY!!!"
Which we all know...is not what they're supposed to be doing.

Out of nowhere, Spurs are close to bringing in Timo Werner on loan with an option to buy. If you saw the game yesterday, you know we could use a guy up front who can score. Of course, Werner hasn’t shown he can do that and more often blows those chances, but here’s hoping he turns that around!

Yes we need a player who can score, unfortunately if we bring Werner in we will still need a player that can score.

Werner is a weird one. I watched him a ton when he was at Stuttgart back then, and he was pretty frustrating ... lots of speed and you could sense the talent, but his finishing was poor and he felt more of a complementary player than the focal point of an offense. Granted, he was young and raw back then, but I thought Leipzig was mad to pay a fee rising to €23m back then when Stuttgart was relegated. Well, he ended up absolutely killing it at Leipzig, with 21 goals in his first year and three more great years, including scoring 28 in his final season there. But he hasn't looked the same ever since moving to Chelsea, and returning to Leipzig hasn't helped either. I think he really benefitted from the setup at Leipzig back then, with Poulsen and Forsberg ... will be interesting to see what Ange can do with him. He simply cannot lead the line, but I wouldn't be surprised if he and Son gelled well.
In other news and with Austria in mind, I'm really happy for Sasa Kalajdzic to go on loan from Wolves to Frankfurt. He needs playing time ahead of the Euros, and the situation at Wolves was frustrating. Think he'll be a really good fit at Frankfurt.

I've always liked Werner's game, but for whatever reason he just couldnt put it together in the EPL.
Seems like a really good move for Spurs though, because if whatever it is in his head just finally clicks he could be a great target-man.
Unless it doesnt.

Assuming there's no buy obligation then it's pretty much a risk free gamble. If he stinks then whatever, no harm no foul, if he actually contributes it's basically found money.
