Looks like Canada got the weaker side of the draw. That being said there are some good teams in the tourney.

Hopefully they can take advantage and get to the final. One game winner take all.

They reseed in the SF so that draw means nothing.

Slovakia scores right at the horn for the first period. 1-0 Slovaks.

Ugly start for the good guys.

Down 1 and already stopped a penalty shot.

Canada having trouble with the speed of the Czechs.

Offensively they're trying globetrotters stuff again, as if this is some sort of all star game. You'd think given the makeup of the team that "pucks on net" would be emphasized. Coaching has to be blamed for this, regardless of outcome this team cannot win against the top teams like this.

2-0....Rousseau struggling. He would want both goals back.

Canada's weakness shines again in the 1st, poor goaltending and no speed/creativity.
Guys look gassed outside of a few individuals.

Terrible second goal. I’m sure these kids will be able to rally from behind but the goaltending really needs to improve.

Embarrassing period from Canada but not surprising. The coaching has been terrible all tournament long and was setting these kids up for a disappointment like this.
