Look, it is a well-known fact that Huberdeau will never score a point again. Therefore, Gilbert's goal never happened. That means the game finished 3-3, and as we all observed and expected, the Flames totally failed to show up for OT.

Therefore they lost.

This especially hurts because I personally am paying Huberdeau's entire salary. I've had to sell everything I owned, including my children, who are being used for medical experiments in an Evil Bioweapons Lab in Sherwood Park. The cat died of starvation and I had to eat my own leg for Christmas, and there's another payment due tomorrow.

New Year's dinner will be a problem. Maybe I can eat Huberdeau.

This is so so so so tired

We're just...we're not talking about the real story here.

AustinL_NHL has done the unthinkable.

He has essentially "wished upon the Monkey's Paw"

So now we have no idea what horrific fate awaits Huberdeau and the Flames.

Your hubris made you think it was okay to play God and you've Doomed us all!

Granted, mostly just Huberdeau and the Flames...but we have to go along with that ride!!

I doubt its going to be good things. I'll tell ya that. Knowing monkey paws and whatnot.

Entertaining game mostly...thought Marky was decent until the last 5 minutes when everything went wonky. Huberdeau surprisingly good. Thought Pop and Zar are collecting quite a bit of attention...which freed up Naz to do his thing. Gilbert was surprisingly effective tonight...he's been close before; think this was one of his best games.

Huberdeau should have had a 5 point game. This team and to a extent he has no finish.

Oh damn...you nailed it.

AustinL sold his soul for single point and now thats it.

The Curse of the Monkey's Paw! This is the payback!

He sold it all for one point against Philadelphia in December...
