Here is what ref said after game. 70 reported, 68 didn't. 68 caught it which was illegal and 70 was lined up incorrectly, so even if they both reported it still would've been called back.

The refs should be fired. Just embarrassing and changed the entire NFC landscape.
Dallas has no business at a division title. Hilarious seeing Seahawk fans all over this.

This is the same crew that really mucked it up a few weeks back. Safe to say their season is done.

Just a gigantic cluster#### by a reffing crew that has had several massive miscues including others in this game. The massive tripping penalty called on Hendershot was actually a trip by Hutchinson on Hendershot but they probably were confused as they both wear white pants.
McCarthy is a #### coach. I’m surprised he makes it to the games on time because he cannot manage a clock to save his life. If Dallas had taken a knee three times on their last drive they’d have actually been way better off than the plays that were actually called.
McCarthy looks like a genius when the team dominates bad teams at home. A 12 year old who has played Madden for a month could dominate the Giants, Commanders, etc at home. A genius coach is someone who can actually make the right call in the big moments against great teams. McCarthy fails every single time in the big moments.
Argh. Even in victory, it sucks to be a Cowboys fan.

There is video that 70 was announced as eligible. It isn’t surprising then that the Cowboys defense wouldn’t be covering 68 on the play as they wouldn’t cover an ineligible player leaving him wide open for the conversion.
Truly a gigantic #### up and a reffing crew that should never be calling another game.

those refs need to be fired. Terrible crew anyway, but that was as bad as it gets.

Allen should be disciplined for this one and pulled from any playoff games this season. He clearly mixed up the two players. Hopefully in the coming days he admits his mistake because it's a bad look for officials to be defiant when proven incorrect.

The officials should be fired. They try to hijack every game. Been brutal all season especially on prime time.

Fired.
This is just one of many incidents all season.
10-0 penalties on Miami. Missed DPI Chiefs and Packers. A roughing the passer miss against Justin Fields in which Zadrius Smith got fined for the late hit.
These are big misses.

The 10-0 penalties on Miami is a bit misleading because the Eagles were called for penalties in that game that Miami declined, but they're still a terrible crew who you absolutely cannot have officiating games in the playoffs.

Why the league would give this crew prime time games when it's clearly past Allen's bed time in the 4th quarter is sad.
But this is a Nation that's about to have a 81 year old go against a 78 year old for its highest profile job...maybe they'll legislate that all NFL Primetime games be over by 7:30 Eastern time to help these other 80 year olds stay awake the whole game.

Missed a huge DPI in that game as well.
They have been downgraded now out of the playoffs.
You see that call in the Lakers game last night and wonder if officiating attracts the biggest idiots or what. How can you have so many incompetent individuals across all of sports. You see it in the NHL, NFL and NBA daily.

That illegal touch call is “they should actually replay the last 23 seconds of the game” bad.

I'm a big Lions fan, the whole situation is annoying and typical of a Detroit-Dallas game.
But if the ref announced that 70 is eligible, the Lions should have corrected him. You can't just ignore it and go on your way with that play.

Here is the challenge - they didn’t have a timeout.
I also don’t know if Goff would have been paying a ton of attention to the announcement as he’d expect it to be correct and would be busy with making sure that the play was called and ready to go. Decker and Skipper probably should have been aware of the announcement but may not have heard it due to noise.
Ultimately, it falls on the refs to get it right. The Cowboys have said that they had practiced all week on offensive linemen getting eligible and would have defended the play differently if Decker was announced as eligible.
Just a really, really bad look.

Ravens pulling away from Dolphins. Tua with a terrible INT and Ravens making some big hit plays.
