So what's the logic on going for it on 4th and 5 from the 30, but not going for it 4th and 5 at the 5?

There's more points gained going for it from the 5 though. In the end it doesn't matter, they can kneel out the rest of this game and win. Hopefully the night game makes up for two smelly early games.
