It is true, and frankly, given your long history of not arguing in good faith, I don't believe you had any other motive in bringing up Stankoven but to denigrate the Flames' current players.

The facts are I have praised and defended Flames players here, based my views in individual players based in their merits.

That doesn’t mean that every player we have is crap but most fans have agreed we lack elite level talent. I pointed out that right now Coleman is playing better but with the context of a rebuild so doesnt factor in and that Zary would be up for debate.

I thought you put “talent” in quotations because you were dismissing the talent of the Flames prospects and used them to show that you did not agree that the Flames actually have talent. If you're Conroy, how do you balance maximizing acquisition prices and getting everything done? Obviously you don't want to leave assets on the table, but trades for big pieces like Tanev/Lindholm/Hanifin would take up a lot of time and effort. When do you start toppling the big dominoes?

I'm guessing that he has general prices set, and would probably realize them at the trade deadline. The two things that would speed up the process would be the fear of injury, which you can't really make moves concerning, but in the case of someone like Tanev might be a factor. The other is that the Flames are in the enviable position that Lindholm and Hanifin, are at the top of most trade boards, so it might be a 'first domino to fall' situation for the entire league, and that puts pressure on other GMs to act.

I think that we could see the remaining UFAs dealt before the deadline, but it also wouldn't surprise me to see Mangiapane, Dube or others dealt at the deadline, if their roles and results with the team don't improve.

No I laugh when people threaten it because 9/10 they don’t actually do it. If you want to put someone in ignore just do it no need to act like it is some big threat.
