Not the shootout I was expecting, but a pretty good game to watch nonetheless.

I hope the Dolphins lose next week and the Bills win, setting up the winner take all to close out the season.

I do like how hilarious it is that if any single play was the difference it was McCarthy calling a FB dive on the 1 yard line and it backfiring. With the Bucs coming on strong now I do worry he won't get the token playoff win he needs to come back next year, but yeah he is what he is as a coach.

For the Patriots, maybe. But Cowboys-Washington SNF season opener next year probably will have Belichick there.

watched the last 10 minutes or so of the cowboys game, was it Olsen who was crying about ref injustices against the cowboys, he is awful.

If they got a stop I think they would have had about 90 seconds, no timeouts and needing a FG to win? Of course you need the stop…

Situations like the Cowboys found themselves in I almost think your best play is to send all out blitzes on the first couple of plays. If you get torched for a TD then whatever, max time back. If you get a sack or other play for a loss, or a turnover, then even better. But to just play defense as normal when they have three and a half minutes and based off their kicker already showing you 60 yards is in range, they only need 32 yards....yeah that's not gonna happen.
