I think Strombo is good at what he does. Totally didn't mind him. I could see some older fans at the time thinking he was too much of a lib hipster though, being most popular from Much Music and a vocal vegan. I don't know if that played a part or not, but I wouldn't be surprised.

I've spoken to him a couple times, and he never comes across and pushy when it comes to his lifestyle. Kinda old school liberal.

As much as Francis sucks and people dislike him, he continually gets his gig in Sportsnet. If he was fired for her maybe then you could say jealousy but hard to think ge is jealous of Campbell working for the league she is going to.

Because Sportsnet is bottom of the rung broadcasting. He couldn't get a job anywhere else.

Before Rogers got the rights CBC had him on for 1 intermission period and he was sooo bad they never asked him back. lol

The people that had a problem with him were on the show. The rest of the on-air crew could never hide their body language - they hated him.
